Doxi has a versatile background in materials science, biotechnology and biochemistry. She obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Southampton, specialising in the synthesis, bioconjugation and applications of nanoparticles. She then joined the biotech industry working towards the research and development of next generation sequencing technologies. Outside of work, Doxi is a fan of science communication, ED&I advocacy, and volunteering.
